We were married in a beautiful lavender field at Flatiron Fields in Sequim, Washington. The 15-acre farm was simply magical, with rows and rows and rows and rows of varying and vibrant shades of lavender, which our guests enjoyed exploring before and after the ceremony.
We first met the owner, Keith, at the Field Arts and Events Hall Wedding Expo. He was personable, helpful, and very accommodating. He had several suggestions--while open to all of our ideas--for where we could hold the ceremony and how we could arrange seating. He was also open to us returning in the evening so we could have amazing photos taken during the "golden hour" lighting. And to top it off, he even supplied the lavender for our wedding reception centerpieces! And as a side note, there was ample parking for our 100 guests.
In the end, we can't imagine how our wedding could have turned out any better! If you're getting married on the Olympic Peninsula, you should definitely take a good look at Flatiron Fields. We could not be any happier with our experience.
We had our wedding at Flatiron Fields in August 2023. After months of navigating venues with strict regulations on what vendors we were allowed to hire, we finally found a venue that would let us book vendors that we wanted and worked with us to make sure our day was just that- our day, exactly how we imagined it. Finding our own vendors helped to keep costs down, and we were able to completely customize our decorations down to the clear top tent and long wooden tables we wanted.
We could not have asked for a better experience, and for a more personal and special day. And being able to include our dog in our ceremony made it even more wonderful!
